The departments of Trauma Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Nephrology, HPB Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiology, Urology, Haematology,  Pulmonary Medicine, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Nuclear Medicine, Palliative Care have started OPD consultation at CMC's new Ranipet Campus. A number of departments have also started their inpatient facilities at the campus.

The campus is 13 km towards Chennai,(location: https://goo.gl/maps/iz48vRtP46eTuCsN6). This is Phase 1 of the transition and more departments will be shifting to the new 1500 bed facility shortly. Your OP consultation will be at the OPD Block (A Block).

How to get there:
• CMC has organised buses from Jubilee Gate (Opp Sushil Hotel) which will be leaving at regular intervals. You can report to the Boarding Point ½ hour before the reporting time printed on your appointment slip.

• There are also many government buses from Vellore Old Bus stand (7, 7A, 7AA, 7AD, 7B, 7C,7F, 7H, 7N, 7M, 7S, 7T) as well as private buses. Most of these buses also stop at the CMC Bus stop on Dr Ida Scudder Road, opposite Karur Vysya Bank.

• Autos and other private transportation are also available.

The bus stop for the CMC Ranipet campus is Poottuthaku which is 250 metres from the campus.

Note: International patients who are yet to register with the CMC’s International Relations Office (IRO) can do so either at the IRO office in Main Town campus before proceeding to Ranipet campus or they can register at the IRO facility at Ranipet campus.
